Hammers fear losing Lingard to Forest

WEST HAM fear they will be pipped to the signing of Jesse Lingard, after Nottingham Forest made a lucrative late offer to the England international.
Lingard is expected to announce a decision over his future this week, having left Manchester United at the end of his contract, and there had been growing confidence at the London Stadium that he would choose to return to the club where he enjoyed a successful loan spell during the 2020-21 campaign.
