LAND EARMARKED FOR HOUSING LEADS TO MORE THAN 60,000 HOMES BY 2040
THOUSANDS of homes are set to be built in Lincolnshire over the next 15 years in sweeping changes for the county - although not as many of the government would like.
Land has been earmarked for major developments which would lead to at least 63,565 homes by the year 2040.
The figures, which are contained within council documents known as Local Plans, predict Lincolnshire will be "a growth area" with "housing numbers set to increase considerably in the next 12-16 years."
