|April 25, 2025
A FAMILY has been left shocked and heartbroken, as no one has been held to account for the death of their three-year-old toddler - killed in an alleged hit-and-run accident in Warrenton.
No arrests have been made yet in connection with the incident two weeks ago in Las Vegas township, Ikhutseng.
The young boy, Lebone Jakkals, died from injuries sustained during the incident on April 11.
Community members took to the streets on April 17 - the same day Jakkals was laid to rest - marching from the Ikhutseng community hall to the Warrenton police station.
A picket was held outside the station, where residents demanded justice and called for swift action.
