Series four sees Harper pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram, played by Max Minghella, as their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power and the desire to come out on top.

“She’s kind of doing what she’s always done, but I think the scale has changed,” explains the American actress.

“We're not beholden to Pierpoint anymore. So you can imagine these girls weaving their usual tangled webs, just in a bigger world, which I think is quite interesting.”

Speaking about the new cast members, Myha’la adds: “We're so proud of the show, and I think anyone who's passionate about joining a project of course, it’s nice that they're known and credible.

“But anyone who's excited about the thing you're excited about and passionate about is always a huge boost.”
