A HEALTHCARE assistant who was working when a teenage patient at a mental health hospital in Nottingham died has admitted neglecting her.
Sylvia Quaye-Mensah pleaded guilty to the charge on what was supposed to be the first day of her trial at Nottingham Crown Court.
The 42-year-old, of Monsall Avenue, Ilkeston, initially pleaded not guilty to four counts she has been charged with, including misconduct in public office as a healthcare assistant and three counts of ill-treatment or neglect.
