Ewes hope for pre-season repeat in cup
Derby Telegraph
|October 18, 2025
DERBY County Women will be in FA Women's National League Cup action tomorrow when they travel to the Ledger Stadium to take on Real Bedford (2pm).
The Ewes will aim to return to winning ways after securing a league point on the road in a hard-fought battle against Hull City last Sunday, which saw them come from behind.
Sam Griffiths' side piled on the pressure in the dying stages, after netting an equaliser early in the second half, but lacked the cutting edge in front of goal required to find a winner - something the Ewes will be hoping to put right against the Pirates.
