Derby seek some home comfort to halt their losing run

DERBY return to action in Regional 1 North West tomorrow aiming to end a six game losing run.

- By PETER GREEN

Before last weekend's break in the league schedule, Derby suffered a 25-19 away defeat against Leek but return to home territory tomorrow when Manchester visit (2.15pm).

Storm Claudia led to flooding at Haslams Lane last weekend so Derby are likely to be on grass rather than their artificial pitch as they look to return to winning ways against Manchester, who are in the lower half of the table and have lost their last two.

"This is a home game against a team that we don’t know much about but if we put in a good performance we believe we'll get what we need out of the game,” said Derby head coach Liam Slatem.
