FOUR learners from Parkdene Primary School in Kraaifontein were injured after a speeding vehicle slammed into them and fled the scene.
The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon around 2pm as the learners were crossing the road at the end of the school day.
Head of Communications for the Western Cape Education Department, Bronagh Hammond, said two of the learners, who are in Grade 3 and 7 respectively, went home with minor injuries.
