MITCHELL'S PAIN

THE Mitchells Plain Community Police Forum are calling on the community to help police by providing information on those responsible for the stubborn shootings persisting throughout die Plain.

Gang-related shootings continue to ring throughout Mitchells Plain as the death toll continues to rise as more people have been shot and killed.

This follows two separate shootings on Sunday afternoon where two men were shot and killed minutes apart in Beacon Valley and Portlands and a 13-year-old shot and wounded.

On Tuesday morning, a 24 year-old-man was shot dead in Westridge around 9am in Simonsig Avenue, in what is believed to be an alleged gang-related shooting.

Police spokesperson, Captain F.C Van Wyk said the circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation.
