Lamola: US-SA relations crumble

THE United States of America’s attempts to interfere with South Africa’s domestic issues have brought relations between the nations to “a low”, Foreign Minister Ronald Lamola told AFP.

Tariffs of 30 percent, the highest on any sub-Saharan African country, are set to take effect on certain South African exports tomorrow, in the absence of a trade deal, following months of escalating tensions over a range of domestic and international policies.
