Pop stars Spice Girls get special 30-year commemorative official £5 UK collectable coin release.
A VOLLE 30 years after they stormed the charts with "Wannabe" and rewrote the rules of pop with unapologetic Girl Power, the Spice Girls are being celebrated in historic fashion, with their own official UK coin.
To mark three decades since their debut single and the release of their album "Spice", the Royal Mint has unveiled a limited-edition £5 collectable dedicated to the five women who defined 90s pop culture.
The Royal Mint, which produces every official coin in circulation in the United Kingdom and has done so for more than a millennium, also creates special commemorative pieces honouring cultural icons and historic milestones.
