Keeper's stunning stop from Bowen saves Postecoglou from unwanted record of 20th PL defeat of season

GUGLIELMO VICARIO'S late save from Jarrod Bowen rescued Tottenham from an unwanted record.

But this was two poor teams contesting a tame Lon-don derby in a meaningless battle for 16th, and it showed.

Wilson Odobert fired Tottenham in front (circle) but Bowen dragged West Ham level (left). Vicario then made sure Spurs avoided a 20th league defeat this season — and that the Hammers remain winless in eight.

Tottenham have never lost 20 games in a Premier League season before, but they do still have time to manage it.

In truth it's roll on Thurs-day for Spurs and the chance to reach the Europa League final. Little else matters for them at this point. At least they stopped the rot after four straight away defeats but, for Graham Potter, the wait for a win goes on.

And the apathy around the London Stadium was palpable with even the boos at full-time of a decidedly muted variety.
