NEWCASTLE could face a transfer backlash as a result of the ongoing Alexander Isak saga.

The Magpies are desperate to bring in replacements, with Paris St-Germain’s Goncalo Ramos on their wanted list for anew No.9.

That would enable Newcastle to cash in on wantaway striker Isak, with Liverpool desperate to land the Sweden international.

But there are fears among top agents that if Newcastle are digging in and playing hardball over Isak, then it sets a worrying precedent for future targets.
