EUBANK JR: BITTER FEUD WILL NEVER FIZZLE OUT

- MARTIN DOMIN

CHRIS EUBANK JR is ready to maintain a cold war with Conor Benn long after the heat of battle has faded.

The rivals' bitter three-year feud will almost certainly come to an end following their rematch on Saturday night at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Eubank Jr holds the advantage having won their first meeting and Benn has no appetite for a decider even if he exacts his revenge.

Eubank Jr, 36, has pitched himself as the hero of a story which began with their famous fathers 35 years ago. He vowed to run Benn, 29, out of boxing after he failed two drug tests before their aborted 2022 clash.

Benn's provisional suspension was subsequently lifted in 2024, after a two-year battle with UK Anti-Doping and the British Boxing Board of Control, paving the way for the first clash in April.
