But it's still a puzzling conundrum England boss Thomas Tuchel will have to fix.

When it comes to picking the defenders, he needs to stop opponents scoring goals against England at the World Cup, so Tuchel will not look past the likes of John Stones, Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa and Dan Burn.

In midfield, Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, Morgan Rogers and Elliot Anderson are guaranteed a place in North America.

But in terms of who will score the goals, then Tuchel has a lot of thinking to do.

Somehow, he has to select from a group of attacking talents that remain the envy of the world.
