The TV star, 46, who has an Austrian dad and a Filipino mum, revealed she was regularly taunted over her ethnicity at school.

She told the Daily Star: "When I was a child, I didn't want to take up space, so I was very quiet.

"When you're a mixed-race Asian girl growing up in Norfolk, you don't. People used to say, 'What are you?!'
