MOON ROCK TO RAIN ON EARTH

A GIANT asteroid once thought a threat to Earth could now slam into the moon - sending lunar rock raining down on us.

Boffins reckon 2024 YR4-which is 220ft-wide has a 4.3% chance of hitting the lunar surface in 2032.

But in better news the chance of the asteroid a potential "city killer" - now hitting Earth has plummeted to 0.0017% from 3% in January.
