MODEL PERFORMER: Lady Iman ticks the right boxes

IT’S day two of Glorious Goodwood and with only two of the races longer than a mile, it's going to be all about speed — no more so than in the Molecomb Stakes, the Group Three five-furlong sprint for two-year-olds.

This emphasis on speed should be ideal for LADY IMAN (2.30) and despite landing her Group Three success over six furlongs, the speed she has shown strongly suggests coming back in distance is going to suit her even more.

Lady Iman has hit speeds of over 42mph in every race so far, and last time that raw speed really took its toll on her in the closing stages.
