Lachlan's keen to help Leigh to glory again

- by DAVE CRAVEN

LEIGH’S Lachlan Lam is forever etched into Challenge Cup history - but it’s only fuelling his desire to return to Wembley.

The Papua New Guinea star famously booted the match-winning Golden Point drop-goal against Hull KR in 2023 that delivered Leopards the cup for the first time in 52 years.

They will return to Wembley again if they beat Warrington in Sunday's semi-final.

But Lam, voted April's Super League player of the month, maintains it’s still hard to reflect on those heroics from two years ago.

He said: “The game moves too quickly to think about it too much.

“Every time we watch it [drop-goal], it means a lot and it's emotional.

“But I've still not watched that game back in full.
