KANE'S NOT GHANA DWELL ON THAT MISS

HARRY KANE is refusing to beat himself up over his last-gasp miss against Ghana.

Instead, England's indispensable captain will just back himself to score in the next one.

The 32-year-old said after blasting over from seven yards in Boston: "It's part of a striker's life.

"I've had many chances go my way this year, chances that probably shouldn't have gone in.

"Nine times out of 10 I score but in football there is a feeling that it just doesn't go your way.

"Before that, Nico (O'Reilly) has hit the underside of the bar. We had a few half-sniffs.

"They were well organised and made it difficult for us.

"We had good moments, we controlled their counter well. It's the opposite game to the first one against Croatia." Thomas Tuchel confessed that he struggled to warm to the concept of replacing Kane with Ollie Watkins or Ivan Toney on the back of his Croatia brace and 61-goal season with Bayern Munich.
