Just 2 days of gas left

BRITAIN has just two days of natural gas stored - sparking fears the Iran war will cause a heating and cooking crisis.

Reserves have dwindled from a peak of 18,000 GWh last year to 6,700 GWh, enough for just 1.5 days of demand, according to National Gas.

There is a similar quantity stored as liquefied natural gas.
