JOYEUSE is set to head to Scotland rather than the Cheltenham Festival for her next start after her impressive big race win at Newbury.

Since it emerged she was ineligible to run in the County Hurdle, there has been a growing clamour to have her supplemented for the Mares' Hurdle.

But trainer Nicky Henderson appeared to rule out that option yesterday by nominating the £120,000 Bet365 Morebattle Hurdle at Kelso on March 1 as her next target.

"It's a very valuable race," said Henderson.
