Roos great on the attack as England face shutout

WILLIE MASON has hit out at England's attack as Shaun Wane's side look for answers to avoid a Test series whitewash.

Mason, the fearsome former Kangaroos prop who had an infamous brawl with Stuart Fielden and Jamie Peacock, is in the UK for the Ashes series and has had a close eye on the current crop of Englanders.

He slammed the pack after the first Test for lacking a formidable leader like those he played with but, having seen them stutter to defeat at Everton, his issues are now different.

"It was a massive improvement, you had a crack," he said.
