Stuart Lubbock family hope book tells truth on pool death
HE was one of the biggest TV stars of the 80s and 90s, lending his golden touch to game shows, light entertainment and his own variety show.
But Michael Barrymore's career was brought to an abrupt halt when Stuart Lubbock was found dead in his swimming pool at a party.
Stuart’s family are still searching for the truth of what happened and hope Barrymore, 73, provides fresh information in his new memoir.
But for the former TV host, who has always maintained his innocence, the book is a bid to build on his new life as a social media star.
He boasts 4million followers on TikTok and more than 100,000 followers on YouTube, gripped by his vlog documenting his travels and adventures with his whippet, Lara.
His new memoir, which he has been writing on the Cornish coast, will tell how Barrymore has found comfort in entertaining a new generation of fans.
