Wilson living the dream as skipper

HARRY WILSON is honoured at the prospect of leading out his country as captain against North Macedonia - although wishes things were different.

Wilson admitted he'd rather Ethan Ampadu and Ben Davies were available for what's shaping up to be a pivotal World Cup qualifying finale at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Ampadu had the armband for Saturday's 1-0 win over Liechtenstein but is suspended for tonight's clash, while regular skipper Davies is injured.

It could prove to be a special night for Wilson as he picks up the captaincy for the first time, but he admits he'd trade in the honour for a full-strength lineup.
