Foxes could play their Ipart in an all-time low
ONE DOWN, two to go - and it looks certain to be Leicester next.
Southampton fell through the Premier League trap door in record time last weekend and the Foxes are 15 points adrift with only 21 left to play for ahead of facing Brighton away today.
Ipswich looked nailed on to join them in another miserable campaign for the promoted clubs. Between them, they have spent £312m on 46 signings but are on course for a record worst combined points total, having accumulated 47 so far.
The previous low, 66, came last season when Burnley, Luton and Sheffield United all went straight back down.
Compare that to the 2010-11 season when Birmingham and Blackpool went down with 39 points and together with fellow relegated club West Ham amassed 111 points.
