MATTEO BERRETTINI claims he would have "signed with my blood" to return to form and fitness ahead of his glamour clash with Carlos Alcaraz today.

The Italian, who reached the 2021 final, was a late withdrawal from the tournament last year when he caught Covid-19 after retaining his Queen's Club title.

And his new girlfriend, Melissa model Satta (inset), had to deny that she was not the cause of his abdominal strain which ruled him out of the claycourt season.
