Mailata eyes a new ring after Rolex gift

IF Jordan Mailata wins a Super Bowl ring on Sunday night, it won't be the first piece of bling jewellery he has pocketed this season.

The 6ft 8in, 26-stone Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle grew up in Australia, dreaming of being a rugby league star.

But at 20, he got on the NFL's International Player Pathway programme and landed with the Eagles in the 2018 Draft despite never having played a competitive game.
