FIGURE UP 13% SINCE JUNE
THE number of asylum seekers housed temporarily in UK hotels has risen by 13% in three months.
Some 36,273 people awaiting rulings on their fates were in such accommodation in September, up from 32,041 in June, Home Office figures show.
