ACCUSED 'SHOWED UP AT GIRL'S VIGIL

MADELEINE McCann’s great-aunt told a jury she was “stunned” when a woman claimed to be the missing girl at a vigil.

Janet Kennedy, who is Madeleine's mum Kate's aunt, said she “could not accept” Julia Wandelt was her niece.

She said Wandelt, 24, showed up in Rothley, Leics, on May 3 last year - the anniversary of the then-three-year-old girl’s disappearance from her family’s holiday apartment in Portugal in 2007.
