An impressive winner of last year’s Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot, the bay colt has found it much tougher going in his second season with his one placed effort in four outings coming in the Commonwealth Cup Trial at Royal Ascot when a closeup third behind Big Mojo.

Not disgraced since when ninth in the big race itself just a five-and-a-half lengths off the winner, he can be excused his last run in the Hackwood Stakes at Newbury as he raced from way offthe pace in a slowly-run race.
