VIKTOR GYOKERES is so desperate to join Arsenal that he missed the plane yesterday to join up with Sporting Lisbon's pre-season camp and he'll now pay a hefty fine for it.

The hitman, 27, has gone on strike in a bid to force through a £69million move to The Emirates.

Sporting's squad arrived in Lagos, near Faro, without their talisman, who is facing disciplinary action after opting to remain in Sweden.

Gyokeres also claimed he has unfinished business in the Premier League having also skipped training on Friday.

The Sweden international, who has never featured in the top flight despite making eight appearances for Brighton, said when asked about a potential return to England: "It's one of the biggest leagues in Europe.
