Charles Bronson ~ who now calls himself Charles Salvador ~ was doing time alongside the gangland bosses at HMP Parkhurst.

In letters penned by Bronson, and unearthed this week, he recalls his time at the Isle of Wight clink where he was moved in 1976.

Ronnie and Reggie Kray led a violent London crime gang in the 1950s and 1960s. The infamous brothers - who Bronson calls “two of the best guys he'd ever met’ - were jailed for life in 1969 for the murders of Jack “The Hat” McVitie and George Cornell.
