WE WANT TO KEEP BEING A LEADING CLUB

Falkirk boss John McGlynn heaped praise on the Paisley men in the buildup to today's clash.

The veteran boss says Robinson and the Saints setup are the benchmark for his Bairns and similar-sized clubs.

But Buddies boss Robinson says he’s still got improvements to make to keep Saints growing.

He said: “It's a huge compliment from someone of John’s stature and ability, he’s been in the game a long, long time.

“I know exactly what he means. Falkirk would be one of the smaller clubs in the division, like ourselves. They will look and see the progress of our club.

“And what John is alluding to is certainly not just me. He's alluding to the board, to the training ground, the structure of the club.

“He's talking of our relative success in the European adventures, the top six adventures, stabilising the club.
