Three league wins in a row but Danny demands more

- BY ANDY NEWPORT

We need to step it up to roar back into title race

DANNY ROHL admits Rangers still have major improvements to make but insists his side's Premiership push is finally heading in the right direction.

The German gaffer watched his team bounce back from a deflating Premier Sports Cup semifinal defeat to Celtic plus a Europa League loss up against Roma with a commanding win in Dundee. The struggling Light Blues are propping up the 36-team table in Europe.

But things are finally looking up on the domestic front as Gers followed up victories over Kilmarnock and Hibs to make it three Premiership wins in a row.

The 36-year-old, brought in last month, gave his first demonstration of the Rohl roar after the match as he celebrated with travelling punters who had chanted his name throughout.

And he believes the new sense of togetherness that has broken out with fans will help drive his players on as they look to chase down Hearts and Celtic.

The boss said: "I am happy. Three wins in a row in the league, two clean sheets away is fantastic.

"To score three goals is good but, of course, the second half we can speak about improvements.

"It is good there is still space for improvement.

"But yes, to take nine points from the last three games is massive.
