TY HAT-TRICK IS THIERRY SPECIAL
Daily Record
|February 12, 2026
TYREECE JOHN-JULES produced a first moment of magic in the mould of his idol Thierry Henry.
And, by the time he was finished last night, he was being celebrated at Kilmarnock much in the same way as the French star was once lauded in London.
John-Jules produced a stunning show to help Killie bag a priceless triumph in their survival bid.
The 24-year-old's first was special and adding to Greg Kiltie's leveller, Neil McCann's side were in a good position.
However, when Killian Phillips grabbed his second St Mirren strike of the night, John-Jules had to go again.
The hitman's restoration of the lead was down to persistence and his hat-trick clincher about power as he sealed the deal.
It was brilliant from the striker, who in taking his Killie tally to seven since signing, hauled second bottom Killie closer to Saints and Dundee.
Saints boss Stephen Robinson was aiming to extend positivity, but, despite a perfect start, their five-game unbeaten run was ended.
