The Capture further explores the hot topic of Al as it returns for an action-packed third season
A crisis unfolds during the series
If you're feeling unsettled by the unstoppable rise of Al, then watching BBC One's thriller The Capture will make your imagination run riot.
Holliday Grainger returns as Rachel Carey, who is now acting commander of the Counter Terrorism Command, tasked with regaining the public's trust in surveillance technology through the new Operation Veritas camera system.
But when a brutal terror attack strikes, Rachel finds herself drawn into an unfolding geopolitical crisis and comes across a new conspiracy which expands deep into the heart of the British establishment.
Writer Ben Chanan explains: "Series one asked 'Can you trust CCTV?' Series two asked 'Can you trust the news?', and series three asks 'Can you trust your own eyes?"
For Holliday, she is just relieved that her character has finally earned the right to carry a gun as she battles to protect the nation.
