Trump tries to score Nixon-style points

DONALD Trump yesterday posted a photo of himself acting tough by pointing his finger at Vladimir Putin - echoing a famous 1959 scene between Richard Nixon and Nikita Khrushchev.
The President put the image online hours after Moscow unleashed its latest huge bombardment on Ukraine.
Trump's pose mirrored then vice-president Nixon's clash with Soviet leader Khrushchev at an American National Exhibition in Moscow during the Cold War. Trump's supporters called it a symbol of defiance. But insiders claim it is a sign of his fury at Putin's refusal to end the carnage.
