TRAITORS RAKES IN £22M FOR SCOTLAND

BBC tots up value to economy since 2022

THE filming of The Traitors in the Highlands has been worth nearly £22million to the Scottish economy to date, according to the BBC.

The figures came as the corporation revealed the smash hit Celebrity Traitors, which last week saw comedian Alan Carr crowned champion, will return for a second series in 2026.

A new Economic Impact Report said The Traitors franchise including the UK, US, and Celebrity editions has generated an estimated £21.8million in Gross Value Added to Scotland's economy since filming began at Ardross Castle, in the Highlands, in 2022.
