A CARER has been caught on camera stealing a gift set from a vulnerable couple's home and putting it in her bag.

Rita Mueti, who worked for Professional Carers in South Queensferry, near Edinburgh, was struck off the register following a hearing with the Scottish Social Services Council, it was reported this week.

Mueti was found to have stolen £40 and a gift set worth about £30 from a property on August 16 last year, as well as using another service user's bank card for shopping.
