Boss Eddie rues cup rule change

NEWCASTLE boss Eddie Howe says he will have to take a Carabao Cup rule change on the chin as he prepares to face former target Antoine Semenyo.

Manchester City’s new £65million man is clear to play against the Magpies in tonight's semifinal despite featuring for Bournemouth in the competition already.

Players are permitted to line up for two clubs in the 2025-26 season after old cup-tied rules were scrapped.
