A PROBE has been launched by police after disturbing racist graffiti was daubed across roads in bright yellow paint.

- BY RYAN THOM

Disgusting messages including "kill all blacks", "no n******" and "stop the boats" were scrawled across a rural route in Stirlingshire.

The slurs shocked motorists when they appeared yesterday morning.

They appeared to have been sprayed at a junction between two roads between the villages of Cowie and Fallin.

Police confirmed an investigation into the hate crime is under way.

The racist messages appeared nine miles away from the Cladhan Hotel in Falkirk, which is housing asylum seekers. Members of the Save Our Futures & Our Kids Futures group were at the hotel protesting this week while a counter-protest was held by Stand Up to Racism Scotland.

The hotel has been at the centre of heated demonstrations between pro and anti-immigration groups for weeks. Last month a brick was thrown through the window of the hotel.
