Scott insists cup is far from decided

CAMMY SCOTT knows Edinburgh will need to be close to their best at Murrayfield today if they are going to beat Glasgow by more than 12 points and reclaim the 1872 Cup.

The capital club were well below par in last week's first leg at Hampden, when they lost 24-12.

But the standoff reckons his side have it in them to overhaul that deficit. And he is hoping that the home crowd - which could be double the attendance in Glasgow last week - will inspire his team to victory.

He said: “I think if you use the word overhaul, it sounds like a big thing.

“But it’s not too out of reach - for us it's an exciting opportunity.
