ROT IN HELL

Calum Simpson's family shouted a message to his vile murderers yesterday as they were sentenced to a combined 42 years in prison
TWO beasts who filmed themselves drugging and raping a young father before murdering him will spend a combined minimum of 42 years behind bars.
Vile duo Dylan Brister, 28, and Cameron Allan, 21, spiked Calum Simpson's drink to knock him unconscious, before the sickening attack was filmed on a mobile phone, and then left him to die.
Brister was sentenced to a minimum of 23 years, while Allan had 19 years imposed, with both added to the sex offenders register for life.
A member of Calum's family shouted "rot in hell" at the duo as they were led away to cells after being sentenced at the High Court in Dundee.
Lord Harrower said it wasn't clear why Calum had been in Brister's home, but he had met him and Allan through a mutual friend earlier that day, after the killers had spent the day plotting a threesome.
Jailing the pair for life, he said: "Personal statements from his partner, mother and aunt bear witness to the terrible devastation of his whole family. No sentence of this court will alleviate the family's grief.
"There is nothing to suggest Mr Simpson had any reason to anticipate what was about to happen to him.
"He would not be aware that throughout the day you were trying to arrange a threesome."
The pair tried to arrange meeting another man through the Grindr app and spoke about tying him up but he called off when they began to refer to using drugs.
Lord Harrower said: "His narrow escape was Calum Simpson's misfortune. While he was unconscious, you subjected Calum Simpson to a sustained assault. You tied him up and raped him.
"You made several video recordings of your activities with a phone but managed to delete them.
