New Killie ace Dackers hopes to gain from gaffer's magic touch

MARCUS DACKERS hopes he's the next beneficiary of Stuart Kettlewell's magic touch with strikers.

Kettlewell made Dackers one of his first captures for Kilmarnock and the new boss has made it clear he's keen to refine the 6ft 7in forward's raw talents.

That's great news for Dackers, 22, who says Ketts has already made a lasting impression on his life in just a fortnight.

Kevin van Veen netted 15 goals in 14 games under Kettlewell at Motherwell to land a move to Groningen in 2023.

Theo Bair was then transformed at Fir Park from a St Johnstone flop to a £1.2million Auxerre signing.

And Dackers said: "He's a manager that's really going to improve me as a player.
