Accies owner Zengin claims SFA and SPFL 'taking revenge' on club | He accuses official of swigging energy drink during appeal summit.
HAMILTON owner Seref Zengin has launched an attack on the SFA and SPFL - accusing them of taking "revenge" on the club, trying to "sabotage" a takeover deal and forcing them into administration.
And he claims a current investigation into fraud at the club "runs all the way to the high end of Scottish football".
Zengin-who has complained to the Scottish Government over the behaviour of the governing body towards Accies recently-has called for an independent regulator to look into the national game at the very top.
The club were deducted 15 points last season but when they appealed it to the SFA, he claimed one "disinterested" member of the panel was "wearing a Hawaiian shirt and holding a can of Monster" as the club's fate was decided.
Earlier this week, Zengin and Hamilton's director of football, Gerry Strain, were deemed not "fit and proper" to run the club by the SFA.
Accies have been given seven days from last Tuesday to outline the steps they will take to remove them - or likely face more sanctions.
Having received fines and points deductions from the SPFL for multiple rule breaches, the governing body have also withheld a £70,000 payment due to Accies amid fears the club ZERO may not be able to fulfil their fixtures this season.
