Boss shrugs off team leak and insists no one at Ibrox is out to damage club
RUSSELL MARTIN says he won't stress over a Rangers mole - because he's convinced no one inside Ibrox is trying to hurt them.
Eight hours before the gaffer named his starting lineup for Tuesday's Champions League qualifying first-leg victory over Viktoria Plzen, his team was leaked online.
Skipper James Tavernier and prized asset Nico Raskin were among those dropped to the bench in what was a controversial selection.
Yesterday, Record Sport columnist and former Rangers interim boss Barry Ferguson revealed it was also an issue when he was in charge at Ibrox last season.
Martin says he has spoken to the squad about the leaking of information and admits it's not ideal. But the manager is adamant there isn't a malicious mole within the camp.
And he hopes the situation has been nipped in the bud before today's game against Dundee.
Martin said: "I was told about it when I turned up to the stadium on Tuesday because I'm not on any social media. I can't really control any of that. It has become more common in the modern game.
