Darting phenomenon is a sight to behold after childhood eye surgery

LUKE LITTLER has revealed he had corrective surgery on the deadliest mince pies in darts - and we're not talking the shortcrust version you've been scoffing over Christmas.

As an infant, 'Luke the Nuke' was treated for strabismus, a condition where the eyes don't align perfectly and their focus points in different directions.

But there was nothing wrong with Littler's 20-20 vision, better known as double top on the oche, when he became the youngest world champion in history at 17 years old.

And when Littler faces slowcoach Mensur Suljovic in the Paddy Power PDC World Championship at Alexandra Palace tonight, his eyes will be firmly on the prize - back-to-back titles and the £1million jackpot prize.
