RELIEVED Anthony McGill reckons his resurgent run to a first ranking semifinal in three years can maintain his tour card.

The former World Championship semifinalist has slumped to 57th in the rankings after a couple of years in the doldrums.

McGill, formerly inside the top 16, was already picturing himself as a trucker next season if he fell out of the top 64.
