Perv carried out sex assault in A&E
A NURSE has been struck off for sexually assaulting a colleague at work.
Andrew Cassels groped the workmate’s buttocks in A&E at Hairmyres Hospital in East Kilbride.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) fitness to practise committee said his actions fell “significantly short” of expected standards.
Cassels, of Bearsden, near Glasgow, was convicted at Hamilton Sheriff Court in January 2024 of sexual assault.
